PV Technical and Installation Support Representative

Are you passionate about renewable energy and customer service? We are seeking a PV Technical & Installation Support Representative to join a fast-growing business on the outskirts of Cambridge. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a market leader in roof-integrated solar panels, supporting customers across the UK and Europe. This is a varied, customer-facing position where you'll provide technical support and training to our installer network and housebuilding partners. You'll be the go-to expert for PV installations, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring customers receive exceptional service. Your responsibilities will include: Delivering technical support and product training (on-site, at head office, and remotely) Visiting construction sites across the UK and Europe to assist with installations and quality checks Investigating and resolving customer issues, from minor faults to complex challenges Supporting product development by feeding back insights from the field Maintaining accurate records and reporting on customer support metrics Practical, hands on experience; comfortable working at roof height on construction sites Knowledge of PV installation practices and electrical regulations (advantageous) Experience commissioning PV systems, including inverters, batteries, and EV chargers (preferred) Strong communication skills, able to train installers and build rapport with customers Organised, resourceful, and confident with a proactive approach Computer literate, with a full clean driving licence Competitive salary + company vehicle 26 days annual leave (rising to 28 after two years) plus public holidays Generous pension scheme (3% employee / 6% employer) Private medical insurance Share ownership programme Cycle-to-work scheme Annual bonus and regular company events Employee Assistance Programme EA First Ltd are acting as an Employment Agency for this permanent vacancy.
