Buyer – GrocerynNorth LondonnUp to £46,000nThis is a fantastic opportunity for a Buyer to join a leading retailer based within their north London office.nYou will be responsible for delivering a commercially focused product ranges that meet both company and team targets, while maintaining a strategic business focus to ensure continued growth in the core grocery category.nBuilding & maintaining strong relationships with large FMCG suppliersnSourcing suppliers & negotiating best cost pricesnAnalysing sales figures to plan successful future linesnReview levels of own brand stock & ensure adequate levels are available and minimise risknPresenting reports, figures and trend information to the Senior Management teamnDealing and resolving escalated supplier queriesnAnalyse market trends and competitor activitynWorking with own brand development team to ensure new products adhere to department business plansnKey requirements for the role;nProven experience as Buyer / Junior Buyer / Buying Manager within a fast paced, FMCG environment preferably Food / Beverage / Non Food grocerynAbility to influence and negotiate effectivelynAble to adapt swiftly in a fast paced, ever changing FMCG market.nGood level of education, degree is preferablenExcellent communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively at all levelsnGood working knowledge of budgets and managing conflicting projectsnExcellent understanding of all MS Office products including advanced ExcelnIf this sounds like a good fit for you please apply today
