What will I be doing day-to-day?
As a Project Administrator, you will play a crucial role to support the effective management and execution of Professional Services projects delivered to our customers. Working closely with the Service Delivery Manager and Professional Services team, you will provide administrative assistance, coordinate project activities, and ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to specifications.
In a bit more detail your key responsibilities will include:
- Assist in the planning, scheduling, and coordination of project activities
- Organize and manage project files, records, and correspondence
- Ensure proper version control and document storage protocols are followed
- Monitor and report on resource utilisation and availability
- Assist in the preparation of project budgets and monitor actual costs against budget
- Prepare financial reports and forecasts as required
- Serve as a point of contact for project stakeholders
- Facilitate communication between project team members, the Service Delivery Manager, the Finance team and customers
- Prepare and distribute project-related communications and updates
- Assist in monitoring project deliverables for quality and compliance
- Other reasonable duties as required
Who will I report to? Service Delivery Manager
What do I need to be eligible to apply?
You need:
- Degree or 3rd level qualification, in an IT related field (desirable but not required)
- Proven experience in project administration or coordination. At least 4 years experience
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- An eye for detail and exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong IT Skills including high proficiency in the MS Office Suite (e.g. Excel, Word etc) with emphasis on Excel in particular
- Positive, confident manner and a willingness to learn new Skills
- Currently holds the independent right to work in UK
It’s not a deal breaker but we would really like if you also had:
- A recognised project management qualification
- Experience using task/ project management solutions such as Jira
- Warehousing and supply chain experience
