Excellent opportunity for an experienced document controller or senior administrator from a manufacturing / engineering environment.
Job Role:
Compiling and submitting Customer MRBs – Manufacturing Record Books, ensuring that all documents are included, and they have been reviewed for completeness and acceptability. Responding to MRB comments in good time.
Producing ‘Travellers’ – shopfloor documentation packs. Uploading information into customer portals.
Managing documents received in the company’s document control email address e.g. forwarding revised drawings to the relevant project manager.
Organising transportation, producing delivery notes. Drafting ITP – Inspection Test Plans.
Submitting NOI – Notice of Inspections to customers, as required.
Produce stencilling and masking. Ordering Stationary.
Ordering PPE e.g. safety shoes.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
Qualifications/Education/Training:
GCSE Maths & English. Essential
Computer Literate, familiar with MS Office Applications. Essential
Experience:
Minimum 1 year document control experience. Desirable
Experience of liaising with customers. Desirable
Knowledge:
Experience of preparing and reviewing documentation. Essential
Experience of working with customer portals. Desirable
Skills and Competencies:
Excellent verbal and written skills. Essential Capable of working to deadlines. Essential Excellent multi-tasker, capable of managing several jobs at the same time. Essential Excellent organisational skills. Essential Ability to interact with customers and suppliers. Essential Effective Team player. Essential
Personal Attributes:
Highly motivated, excellent work ethic, confident, flexible. Essential Ability to work on own initiative with a pro-active, strategic Essential approach to challenges.
Working Hours:
39 hour working week.
Monday to Thursday: 08:00 to 16:30
Friday: 08:00 to 15:30
Holiday Entitlement:
25 Days Annual leave.
