Role and Responsibilities:
Design and deliver engaging music lessons to students.
Develop and implement a comprehensive music curriculum aligned with educational standards.
Teach diverse music subjects such as music theory, instrumental skills, vocal training, and music history.
Prepare students for performances, recitals, and examinations.
Organise and lead school music events, concerts, and extracurricular activities.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student participation and creativity.
Assess and monitor student progress, offering constructive feedback and support.
Collaborate with colleagues and participate in school events, meetings, and professional development activities
The ideal candidate will:
Have recent experience in teaching primary schools
Strong knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 Music curriculum
Degree and QTS Desirable (Unqualified Teachers also welcome to apply)
Be a committed team player
Be confident and adaptable to different environments
Have strong classroom management skills
Our service is free of charge but all we ask is that you are compliant with the Department for Education guidelines.
