Key Responsibilities:
Source suppliers and manage the procurement of materials, ensuring compliance with company policies.
Sourcing within Mechanically biased categories
Conduct tender processes and negotiate with suppliers for best value.
Manage procurement schedules and ensure accurate reporting of savings.
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Perform spend analysis and identify opportunities for cost reduction.Requirements.
Proven experience in Purchasing / Procurement
Experience in a Mechanical bias purchasing role
CIPS qualified or equivalent preferred
Experience within Engineering, Construction or Energy sectors
Strong ERP systems skills
Location: Cumbria
Perm: £38k - £45k (negotiable - dependent on experience)
Hours: Full Time, Mon-Fri.
