We are looking for a Designate General Manager for the South Coast/South West region to join one of the largest and most successful gaming groups within the UK. As a Designate General Manager, you will be thoroughly trained and inducted into their Casino business, typically over a period of 3 months before being placed as a General Manager within one of their Casinos in the South Coast or South West. We are very keen to hear from candidates who have a proven track record as a leader within the broad leisure/hospitality/food retail sectors and who would enjoy working within the fast paced and dynamic environment of a 24hr gaming and entertainment business. If you are obsessed with delivering customer excellence and ensuring your customers and team are at the heart of, and love everything you do, then this could be the start of a fantastic and very rewarding career in the Casino industry for you.
Responsibilities include:
- Create amazing experiences for the customers on every visit, establishing the venue as the destination of choice.
- Build and promote an inclusive, trusting, and high-performance culture with clear and consistent communication.
- Coach, mentor and inspire your team with development plans to maximise their potential.
- Proactively review and action customer insights and engagement.
- Implement a proactive sales strategy working closely with Central functions.
- Create innovative experiences and events across all customer segments
- Drive the financial performance across all elements of gaming and food and beverage.
- Fully accountable for health and safety and operational compliance and industry best practice.
- Ensure that the casino culture instils responsible gambling at its heart.
Interested candidates must be able to demonstrate the following attributes in full:
- Have a proven track record delivering exceptional commercial results in a significant service driven business.
- Exhibit energy, drive and passion in their leadership style and approach.
- Be comfortable driving change and positively influencing at every level within the business.
- Are a creative thinker who constantly looks for improvement and innovation. .
You will be brought into the business as a designate on a salary of 45K to £55k plus a car allowance of £5600 per year. There is an opportunity to earn a bonus of 10-20K. Benefits include private medical care, a company pension contribution of up to 10%, life assurance with 33 days annual holiday.
