About Our Client
Our client is a leading law firm with a strong reputation for providing exceptional legal services in the West Midlands. Their dynamic team is committed to delivering the highest standard of client care and legal expertise. They are now seeking a dedicated and experienced Residential Conveyancing Fee Earner to join their team.
The Role
The successful candidate will manage a diverse caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion. This role requires a proactive approach to handling files, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing outstanding client service.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a varied caseload of residential conveyancing files, including sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity
- Conducting thorough title checks and preparing reports on title
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other stakeholders
- Drafting contracts, transfer deeds, and other legal documents
- Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements
- Providing high levels of client care and maintaining strong client relationships
- Using case management systems efficiently to manage files and documentation
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in residential conveyancing
- Strong knowledge of conveyancing processes and relevant legislation
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to manage a high-volume caseload effectively
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with case management software and MS Office
- A proactive and client-focused approach
Desirable
- Qualified as a Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or Legal Executive (CILEx)
- Experience with both freehold and leasehold properties
- Familiarity with the local property market
