Quest Employment are recruiting on behalf of our great client company based in NN5 Northampton, specializing in bespoke carpentry and joinery projects. We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Carpenter to join our team. This is a full-time position offering Monday to Friday work hours from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, with plenty of overtime opportunities available.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize your bench joinery expertise to construct and assemble custom-made furniture, cabinetry, and other wooden structures according to specifications.
  • Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to accurately plan and execute carpentry projects.
  • Measure, cut, shape, and join materials using hand tools and power tools.
  • Install fixtures, fittings, and hardware as required.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Carpenter, specifically in bench joinery.
  • Proficient in using a wide range of hand tools and power tools.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Good physical stamina and ability to work on your feet for extended periods.
  • Time management skills to meet project deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Valid driving license preferred but not essential.
