Our client, a leading player in the defence and security sector, is currently seeking a talented RF Microwave Design Engineer to join their permanent team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies and contribute to national security projects.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing RF and microwave circuits for defence and security applications
  • Developing and testing prototypes to ensure performance meets specifications
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into robust design solutions
  • Utilising simulation tools to predict and optimise the performance of RF circuits
  • Conducting performance analysis and troubleshooting of RF systems
  • Producing detailed technical documentation and reports
  • Participating in design reviews and providing technical expertise
  • Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations


Job Requirements:

  • Experience in RF design and microwave engineering
  • Strong understanding of circuit design principles and RF simulation tools
  • Proficiency in using RF testing and measurement equipment
  • Ability to develop and optimise prototypes from concept to production
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
  • Relevant degree in electronics, electrical engineering, or a related field
