Job Location: Strabane, County Tyrone

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday.

If required to work on Saturday - x1.5 rate (overtime rate)

The Role:

Reporting to the Senior Mechanic, the HGV Mechanic will work as a member of the Facilities and Maintenance team. You will be responsible for the maintenance of the Frylite Solutions Strabane leet which includes rigids, artics and vans. You will also be responsible for vehicle tests, emergency breakdown repairs, routine maintenance schedules and daily vehicle check repairs.

Essential Criteria:

The successful candidate must
Have at least 3 years' experience of maintaining commercial vehicles
Have good working knowledge of vehicle electrics and hydraulics
Have good working knowledge of diesel engines
Have knowledge of preventative maintenance programmes
Possess a full driving licence. Possession of an HGV Class 1 and/or Class 2 license would be an added advantage.
Be willing to travel to other company sites occasionally.
