Alumet Systems (UK) Ltd
Alumet Systems (UK) Ltd are an award winning building envelope and renewable energy specialists.

Established in 1992 by Gary Summers, Alumet has grown year on year and now has over one hundred members of staff.

The company is able to offer design, manufacture and installation services for the complete building envelop, including aftercare and maintenance.


About the Role


We are looking for an apprentice to provide administrative support to ensure the smooth running of operations on a construction site based at Chalcots Estate.


Due to Section 106, applicants must live in either Camden or Islington Borough to be suitable for this role.

  • Daily responsibilities:_
  • Prepare correspondence
  • Induction documentation and other documents (including the weekly pack), as required by the Project team
  • Maintain site files in accordance with Alumet's Management System
  • Scan, photocopy, distribute and file documents as required
  • Place orders for materials both internally and externally with suppliers
  • Assist with the booking and coordinating deliveries to site
  • Update the training database as required
  • Arrange site meetings and taking minutes as appropriate
  • Assist the Project team to ensure all records are kept up to date
  • Maintaining areas of work in a clean and tidy state
  • To ensure quality at all times
  • To ensure compliance of health and safety regulations
  • To be suitable for this role the following criteria is essential:_
  • Good IT skills in Microsoft programmes, especially Word and Excel
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills and methodicallyminded
  • GCSE Grades C/4 and above or Level 2 Functional Skills in English and Maths.
  • Must live in Camden or Islington Borough
  • The following criteria is desirable:_
  • Good practical skills
  • An awareness of onsite Health and Safety
  • Previous experience working within the construction industry

About the Training
Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship programme, you will achieve a Level 3 certification.
