• Wednesday: 07:00 17:00Thursday: 07:00 16:30I have been instructed to support our client based in Calne to recruit a Quality Inspector to join their team on a temporary, ongoing basis.

Our client provides technical solutions for engineering clients throughout the world, and within the role of Quality Inspector you will be responsible for a variety of duties.

The successful candidate will be responsible to perform Quality Assurance checks - visual and dimensional on plain, pre-plate and post plate components, inspecting to customer drawing specifications and assuring conformance before packaging and despatch to customer.

Key Responsibilities and Duties.
Work to set procedures and AQL levels for the QA inspections of various components to customer drawing specification.
Visual and dimensional utilising the appropriate test equipment.
To work to ISO (Apply online only) accreditation standards when using the quality systems and documentation.
Report any non-conformance to these specifications to the Senior Inspector.

Work with the Inspection Supervisor in planning workflow to support both pre-plating requirements and final products for despatch to customers.

Record all QA results from your inspection on the QA database.
Assist in the packaging and labelling of components for despatch.
Ensure parts are manufactured in line with production plan quality policy.
Ensure 5S and TPM standards are maintained.

• Wednesday: 07:00 17:00 and Thursday: 07:00 16:30Training will be provided for aspects of the role where required but the successful candidate would ideally have previous Quality Inspection experience within an engineering environment.
