About the Role

  • Store Bakery Team Member
  • Parttime

- £6.40 - £11.44 per hour, plus gratuities. Depedent on age

  • 4 days a week
  • 6am2pm shifts
  • Includes 1 day at the weeken

About you:

  • Exceptional customer service is a must.
  • Talk confidently to the customers about our products, values and history.
  • Show your passion for the brand to every customer and convey what makes us unique.
  • Deal with hiccups from time to time. Practice transparency and use effective communication to deal with curveballs.
  • Enjoy the energy and pace of the store. Happy to be on your feet all day and shift through the gears when the demand dictates a little more haste.
  • Use our systems and structure to deliver A to B.
  • The willpower to be surrounded by cake, pasties, waffles and pizza without succumbing to too much temptation.

The Brand:

  • Byfords is a 15th Century building with tonnes of character. Byfords is our founding brand within our family and has been open since 2000. We serve delicious food throughout the day, as well as the Store serving freshly prepared takeaway food, and the Posh B&B that consists of 16 uniquely designed rooms. Byfords is a fun, quirky and charming business to work for with plenty of opportunities with passionate, hardworking individuals.
  • We communicate and market ourselves via the Norfolk Passport. Card Holders receive 10% off everything we do and we simply tell them about everything we get up to. This very important group of people also provide us with honest internal feedback, it doesn't matter if it is good or bad we want to know about it; we just prefer it to be good
