Position:
Laser Operator

Reports to:
Site Operations Manager

Key Accountabilities:

  • Operating and programming a CNC laser cutting machine
  • Attend to basic fault findings of CNC laser cutting machine
  • Operating equipment in line with Health & Safety procedures and ensuring that this is adhered to at all times
  • Working as part of a team and/or individually in a busy manufacturing environment ensuring that product is manufactured to the expected the standard
  • General operative duties capable of movement between departments
  • Working to tight deadlines
  • Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping
  • Maintaining quality control throughout all areas of production
  • Working on various machines including Presses/Guillotines/Saws

Associated Responsibilities:

  • To work and contribute to team approach
  • Actively participate in team meetings and TBT
  • Following all aspects of H+S procedures

Essential Criteria:

  • 2 years' experience working in a fastpaced manufacturing industry role
  • Must have experience operating CNC Laser machine including the ability to programme
  • Must be able to work shifts
