Key Objectives
Reporting to the Stores Manager you will be responsible for ensuring accurate counts of stock, identify discrepancies and follow up with the relevant department.
Responsibilities include:
- Complete accurate stock checks and audits whilst recording this correctly
- Completing daily routine stock checks
- Identifying and problem solving with any discrepancies found
- Find ways to reduce or eliminate future inventory errors
- Inspecting the business to ensure stock levels are correct
- Adherence to health and safety rules and regulations
- Maintaining production area housekeeping
- Minimise waste by using/disposing of raw materials and consumable items efficiently
- Operating all equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Assist within the stores operations team, flexibility required
- Maintaining a safe working environment at all times
The company requires all employees to adopt a flexible approach to work and you will be required from time to time to perform other duties.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Effective communication skills
- Structured approach to record keeping
- IT skills including the use of tablets/computer software is essential
- Counterbalance/Reach Truck Licence is advantageous
- Organised, proactive and self motivated individual
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Ability to ensure production output target and quality is maintained
Employee Benefits:
- Starting salary £27,320.00 per year (£12.66 per hour)
Overtime Monday
- Friday paid at 1.25 x the hourly rate
- Overtime on weekends paid at 1.5 x the hourly rate
