Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Nursery Room Leader to join our team at a vibrant nursery setting. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and providing a nurturing environment for children to thrive.

Qualifications / Educational Requirements:

  • A full and relevant LEVEL 3 QUALIFICATION as defined by Department of Education UK
  • 2 years minimum previous experience working as Room leader or Senior Practitioner

Responsibilities:

Manage and lead a team of nursery staff to ensure the smooth running of daily activities

Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and children to maintain strong relationships

Drive the implementation of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum

Provide strong leadership and support to staff, promoting professional development

Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for children to learn and play

Organise and participate in activities that promote children's physical, mental, and emotional development

Skills:

Proficient in English language (written and verbal)

Experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting

Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team

Knowledge of Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework

Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
