Job description

Established in 1991 Townfield Home Care provides support to people to live independently in their own homes.

Due to business expansion and growth ,Townfield Home Care is looking for a Rota Co-ordinator to join an existing team. We are looking for a person who is able to organise and plan rotas for the Hyndburn Area.
Job Summary

  • The post holder must be able to work in a logical and organised manner.
  • Have excellent communication skills
  • Be confident and work steady under pressure
  • The post holder will be responsible for managing a centralised rota management system. Providing rota's for up to 70 Home Care Staff.
  • It is paramount that the post holder maintain continuity of care and support the Service Users and ensure efficiency and reliability of all visits.
  • The post holder will work within a team and will be responsible for the production of staff rotas taking into consideration Work Time Directives.
  • The post holder will participate in an on call system as identified and be required to ensure efficient delivery of service.
  • The post holder will actively promote Townfield and Coach House Care Ltd's reputation
  • Car owner/driver with business insurance is required.

Responsibilities and Duties
To allocate work to Support Workers using an electronic system ensuring that all service users receive their allocated visits

Qualifications and Skills
The post holder is required to have a minimum 2 years experience with in a social care setting.

Experience of allocating rotas is desirable

Experience of 'One Plan' or similar software is desirable
