Group Accounts Administrator / Accountant

Full Time Management Role

Salary - Competitive - Salary £30,000 P.A or Euro equivalent at time of employment.

Bonus possible quarterly depending on achievable targets

This company is based in Muff Co Donegal also registered in Derry N Ireland, it has interests in Coleraine Newry and elsewhere in ROI and UK - free onsite parking.

You will join a well-established and supportive finance team and liaise closely with our company directors

Responsibilities:

  • Perform general duties related to accounts payable and receivable.
  • Preparation of VAT, PAYE & RCT returns
  • General administration and other ad hoc duties as they arise
  • Processing bank receipts and preparation o bank reconciliations
  • Perform administrative duties related to accounts payable and receivable.
  • Assist in the monitoring and control of accounts payable and receivable.
  • Communicate with vendors, customers, and managers.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of company policies and procedures.
  • Audit our group and individual business's Accounts, H&S and HR procedures.

Your skills & experience

  • Experience of Station Master or similar fuel station management system and also Thesaurus and BrightPay would be an advantage.
  • 1 years' experience in a credit control/administrative role or finance/business related degree or accounting technician or business administration qualification
  • Excellent track record of working in a fast moving and complex environment
  • Proven ability to problemsolve
  • Communicate with people at all levels both internally and externally
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages including Excell
  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment
  • Team Player
  • A driving licence and own transport would be desireable_

The Person

  • Manage sales & purchase ledger
  • Processing payroll for NI & ROI agency workers
  • Resolving payroll & invoice queries
  • Assist with credit control
  • Prepare VAT & Intrastat returns
  • Reconciliation of accounts

Essential Experience

  • Experienced Accounts and Payroll Administrator
  • Experience within a busy Finance team
  • Experience using Sage line 50 and/or Xero or Stationmaster or similar
  • Experience of payroll

Salary:
£30,000.00 per year
or Euro equivalent at time of employment

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift must be fully flexible


Ability to commute/relocate: Derry: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:

  • Accounting: 1 year (preferred)
- bookkeeping: 1 year (preferred)

Work Location:
Muff Donegal and Coleraine and Newry Occasionally

Expected start date: 9/03/2023 or earlier if convenient
