Join Our Technical Production Team

Our Technical Production department consists of three specialized teams: Special Effects, Engineering, and Painting, Joinery & Display.

These teams play a crucial role in designing, developing, producing, and maintaining the Museum's exhibitions to enhance the visitor experience.

The engineering team boasts fully equipped workshops with advanced tools including Lathes, Mills, and 3D printers.

The Senior Engineering Technician, reporting to the Engineering Manager, will engage in all engineering activities, support workshop operations, and coordinate team projects.

  • Requirements:
  • Completion of a recognized mechanical engineering apprenticeship
  • Proficiency in written English and Maths
  • Experience in engineering drawings interpretation
  • Knowledge of various materials such as plastics, steel, aluminium, and brass
  • Skills in welding, CAD packages, and electro-mechanical systems
