WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING


The role of Chief Executive Officer is to have overall accountability for ensuring the strategic development and operational management of the Charity, which compromises Rochdale Boroughwide Cultural Trust t/a Your Trust and its trading subsidiary Your Trust Trading.


This includes innovating and leading on the design and delivery of the corporate strategy, ensuring commercial and financial sustainability, delivery of business plans and robust governance alongside developing and leading a collaborative approach to ensure mutually beneficial partnership management and representation at local, regional and national level.


WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
You must be a strategic, strong leader who can make sound decisions and empower and motivate your team.


You must also have a good understanding of the governance for charitable trusts and partnership working, with the necessary personal skills to grow and strengthen effective relationships with key stakeholders and customer groups.


Accountable to the Chair of the Board, you will have a passion for leading and creating an organisation which deliver excellent results for the Board, staff and customers.

You will be able to demonstrate integrity, versatility, flexibility and sensitivity to ethical issues and commitment to equal opportunity in all matters.


You will be able to demonstrate proven leadership qualities and change management abilities with the capacity to direct and support Your Trust to achieve its objectives, working successfully with a Board of Trustees in a voluntary, public or private organisation.
