The Role in a nutshell:
The general purpose of the role is to ensure all our orders from our website or wholesale is promptly fulfilled to the highest standard to maximise happy customers and suppliers, and to also play a key role within the warehouse team.
Hours for this role:
- Parttime with 8 hour contract, overtime available at busy periods.
Main Duties/Responsibilities:
- Preparing garments and accessories for embroidery (unpacking, framing, and changing thread colours.)
- Running all our embroidery machines at the same time.
- Operating the manual heat press.
- Ensuring highest levels of quality control are achieved and maintained.
- Using domestic sewing machines for labelling and alternations across our garments and accessories
- Packaging website and wholesale orders, to the highest standard.
- Proactive maintenance and upkeep of all equipment, reporting problems to your line manager.
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment across all areas of the Warehouse.
- Be required to assist with the unloading of stock containers when they arrive and replenishing the Warehouse stock areas.
- Keeping on top of waste control.
- Communicating and helping other members of staff to help resolve any production or stock issues.
- Follow all safety rules and regulations.
- Perform general and administrative tasks as required and directed by your Line Manager.
The Skills you'll be sharing with the team:
- Great attention to detail and self-motivated.
- Ready to learn new skills and process', but also able to be proactive and independent.
- Works well with in a fastpaced environment alongside other members of staff in a small knit team.
- Communication is key especially with Line Managers.
The Details:
- Location: Dinnington, Sheffield
- 28 Holiday days including Bank Holidays, worked out at pro rota.
