JOB TITLE:
TRAINEE ASSET SCHEDULER

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop a good understanding of the Work Scheduling Process.
  • Develop a good understanding of the advantages of the Petrofac Work Scheduling Process.
  • Facilitate review of 17th week work orders in support of the Work Scheduling and IAP Processes. Responsible for identifying relevant owners and work with them to ensure work orders are reviewed, actions identified, tracked, and completed and executable work scheduled appropriately. Acts as a gatekeeper holding users accountable for the data they have provided.
  • Responsible for providing Quality Assurance checking for corrective work orders.
  • Provides advice on Scheduling Compliance Reporting and how the data is identified and calculated.
  • Responsible for the full end to end process of Weekly Schedule Attainment Reporting, which includes the gathering of data for the Scheduling Compliance Reports, the subsequent analysis of said reports and issuing to the relevant parties for their input prior to final issue to meet the weekly deadlines.
  • Provide detailed Analytical support when required.
  • Provide day to day support and coaching on the scheduling process and software.
  • As required monitor the 5 weeks of schedules ensuring alternative resources have been applied and ensuring resource requirement is levelled with resource availability.
  • Understand offshore personnel rotas and POB Forecast, ensuring alternate resources are reflective of crew.
  • Deliver reports in support of the Scheduling Teams.
  • Develop a good understanding of priorities, interactions, and dependencies between activities.
  • Establish and maintain weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual meeting schedule.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationship with Offshore Operations Co-Ordinator and maintenance personnel (onshore and offshore).
  • Responsible for the continuous improvement of the Scheduling Process and route recommendations through the Planning Manager.
  • Understand the alignment between the integrated plan and the schedule.
  • Support the implementation of Scheduling process & software for new assets as required.
  • Ensure any changes are managed through the formal change management process with the relevant approval.
  • Provide cover for offshore Operations Coordinators when required.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • 4 Higher to include Maths & English.
  • Willing to attend Basic Offshore Safety Induction & Emergency Training.
  • Excellent Computer Skills with good knowledge of Excel & Word.
  • Understands the fundamentals of work scheduling within a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) and its advantages.
  • Knowledge of Maximo / SAP CMMS is required.
  • Some understanding of Integrated Asset Planning would be beneficial.
