We are looking for an enthusiastic 'Warehouse Operative' to join our award winning team at the British Ironwork Centre in Oswestry, Shropshire.


Full training will be provided.

Duties include:

  • Processing incoming goods/deliveries, ensuring goods are checked thoroughly and handled with care
  • Ensuring goods are made available for dispatch in line with customer expectations
  • Ensuring incoming consignments are processed in a timely manner.
  • Loading and unloading deliveries efficiently & safely.
  • Ensuring driver paper work is checked throughly and signed appropriately
  • Ensuring any discrepancies are raised and investigated/queried immediately
  • To be passionate and take ownership of the role
  • Assisting the warehouse manager and other supervisors in the maintenance and safe running of the warehouse
  • General warehouse stock logistics movements to maximise internal efficiencies
  • Upholding goods inwards and returns processes
  • General warehouse health and safety ensuring all areas of the warehouse are kept clean, tidy and safe at all times.
  • Encouraging cross company collaboration between departments
  • Stocktaking & maintenance of accurate inventory records
  • Assist with other areas of the business when required working offsite when required
  • General warehouse duties including picking and packing
  • Meeting key performance targets
