About the Role:

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Management: Lead and oversee the Mathematics department to uphold high standards of education.

  • Mathematical Problem Solving: Conduct interactive sessions to boost students' problem-solving skills and logical thinking.

  • Extra-Curricular Activities: Lead or support extracurricular clubs and activities related to Mathematics.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with colleagues to develop cross-disciplinary projects and exchange best practices.
  • Professional Development: Help in the professional growth of Maths educators through mentoring and training.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Must possess a valid QTS certificate.
  • Relevant Degree: A degree in Mathematics or a related field.
  • Experience: Previous experience teaching Mathematics at the secondary level is crucial. Experience in a leadership capacity is highly beneficial.
  • Leadership Skills: Show strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Passion for Teaching: Exhibit a genuine passion for the subject and for educating young minds.
