Key Responsibilities for this role will include but not inclusive:

  • Review project documents such as drawings, specifications and proposals to determine electrical system requirements
  • Conduct site visits to gather information about existing electrical systems and assess any necessary upgrades or modifications
  • Prepare accurate and comprehensive cost estimates for electrical systems including materials, labour, equipment and subcontractor costs
  • Communicate with suppliers to obtain pricing and availability information
  • Generating quotation on accounting package Xero

Essential Skills / Experience required for this role:

  • At least 3 years of experience in electrical estimating
  • 18th Edition qualified (preferred)
  • Experience of hazardous area electrics would be advantageous
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems
  • Experience with estimating software (Amtech
  • Trimble preferably)
  • Experience with accounting package Xero for quotation (training will be given)
  • Ability to work under your own initiative or as part of a team
  • Excellent organisation skills and ability to prioritise workload
  • Ability to work to deadlines
  • Drivers Licence
  • Ability to secure Military Clearance / Disclosure
