Head of Asset Management and Decarbonisation - Internal Only
We are looking for a permanent Head of Asset Management and Decarbonisation to join our team and make an impact on our organisation,creating the long-term strategic plans translating company information into business intelligence.
This role will be a key member of the Senior Management Team and subject matter expert within Tai Tarian on Asset Management and Decarbonisation to successfully plan and deliver our carbon neutral ambition and Welsh Housing Quality Standard (WHQS) 23 compliance. Leading the Asset Management and Decarbonisation Team to deliver the organisation's strategic outcomes, using technical knowledge and experience to enhance the service and support a solution led approach and future developments.
About the role
Within your role as a Head of Asset Management and Decarbonisation, you will:
- Develop a team of subject matter experts in Asset Management, developing exemplary data that provides strategic investment in our housing portfolio.
- Create high level strategies and plans to fully understand the performance of our properties and translate those in to clear programmes of work for capital investment to implement.
- be the subject matter expert on the Decarbonisation Agenda, with particular focus on carbon literacy, data, circular economy, and technical matters.
- Responsible for the calculation and validation of the Tai Tarian carbon footprint, identifying the most efficient and effective way to reduce the organisation's carbon footprint. Develop specifications and products selection on behalf of Tai Tarian to ensure long term maintenance and sustainability are at the forefront of our strategic planning and implementation of the circular economy.
About you
To be considered for our Head of Asset Management and Decarbonisation role, you will be educated to a dgree level with at least5 years' experience of leading an operation technical team or related fieldandneed to be able to demonstrate:
- Demonstrable evidence of identifying and leading on work streams that seek to achieve improvements for colleagues, customers, or the wider organisation.
- Good judgment with knowledge and experience to make the right decision. Resilient in an environment of conflicting and complex demands.
- A change agent that can successfully influence and implement change with exceptional colleague engagement.
- Ability to influence and negotiate with senior managers and internal teams, to deliver on strategic outcomes.
