Are you looking to join a new small animal veterinary practice, surrounded by a friendly and supportive team? If yes, please get in touch
Who are we?
River Veterinary Care is a Small Animal independent practice, located just outside of Newcastle City centre and conveniently accessible from the A1. Over the last year that our surgery has been open, we have swiftly expanded our team and seen our client base grow extensively through word of mouth and our exceptional online reviews, across the Northeast.
Our founder and clinical director, Alex, is the driving force behind River Vets and its ethos. We believe that everyone should receive a gold standard level of care, for patients, clients and staff alike. Alex has a certificate in orthopaedics and soft tissue surgery, as well as being highly skilled in laparoscopic surgery. While we are a 1 st opinion small animal practice, we do offer some referral level surgeries, including orthopaedics, BOAS and laparoscopic.
Our practice has been renovated with state-of-the-art facilities and been purposefully designed to provide the best possible experience for not only clients and patients, both also our team. No expense has been spared to ensure the highest standard of clinical care and we regularly get comments on our aesthetic. Our practice has been designed to stand out from the crowd with a high-end finish, as well as being a calming environment.
At River Vets we prioritise our staff welfare and pride ourselves on being an independent practice where everyone is cared for as an individual. We're a family run business and treat our staff as more than just a number, more like a family, where you are encouraged to achieve your goals.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for someone that puts patient and client care above all else, our gold standard level of care is something we pride ourselves on. It is also important to us that our team takes their time to treat patients, work cases up and see through the surgeries. We offer 20-minute appointments as standard allowing our vets to have the time to provide a personalised service. We are aware of the importance of continuity of care, and we endeavour for our veterinary team to follow cases and have freedom over their patient's treatment plans, while having the support of the whole team behind you.
If you have any specific areas of interest with regards to CPD and certificates, we would love to support the successful applicant. We believe in encouraging our team to grow their knowledge and this will help us become an even more successful team with a greater knowledge base to help our patients.
What can we offer you?
As an independent practice with our own out of hours, we have ensured our package is reflective of the work.
