JOB PURPOSE & RESPONSIBILITY:


Come and join Alfred G Pearce Ltd, we are a third generation family run local business looking to recruit experienced Line Co-ordinators/Supervisors to join our production team.


As part of our skilled production team, you will ensure production lines operate efficiently meeting deadlines whilst adhering to food manufacturing and health and safety standards.

You will be responsible for a production line and a team and together, ensuring that deadlines are met and quality standards achieved.


You will need to be able to work to tight deadlines, be able to communicate clearly with your colleagues, thrive under pressure and keep your work area tidy whilst motivating and encouraging your team.


Key duties and responsibilities will include:

  • ensuring the line is running at its optimum level
  • your knowledge and understanding will play a key factor in determining this
  • whilst balancing quality, quantity and tight deadlines that you and your team are working to meet.
  • Responsible for setting machinery to reflect the current production run and customer specifications.
  • Keeping calm when working under pressure, a logical thinker who has a very good attention to detail
- confident to make decisions, work on your initiative and challenge when necessary. Your previous manufacturing experience will enable you to become an integral part of our Production team

  • Liaising with other departments and colleagues you will need to be a clear and confident communicator
  • You will need to demonstrate sound GMP knowledge, H&S and Food safety standards ensuring your team work efficiently, whilst maintaining a tidy and safe working environment
  • You will train and encourage your team, identifying talent for succession and will create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere where you team can flourish
  • This is a day shift role, working 5 days a week with a start time of 06:00 (Currently Monday
  • Friday with some Saturday working.)
