Gabriella Shaw Ceramics are now recruiting for a part-time Studio Assistant.

Role and responsibilities:

As a Studio Assistant you will be primarily responsible for decorating our china with transfers. Also creating transfer layouts and images for press releases using photoshop.


Happy to 'muck in' with other tasks when necessary, being confident to deal with customers, both in person and on the phone and help with other duties such as packing parcels etc.

Opportunity to gain experience and training in other aspects of the ceramic/pottery industry,

Essential experience:

  • Care and attention to detail with artistic ability, although training will be given


Our studio is situated on a farm in beautiful surroundings, but the applicant will need their own transport as public transport is not reliable locally.

We are looking for a reliable, outgoing person to join our small team. Someone who enjoys multitasking and can cope with a lot going on.
