Its energy field stores carry a specialized product line focused on the needs of energy industry customers.

Its steel distributors operations act as master distributors selling steel in large volumes to other steel service centers and large equipment manufacturers mainly on an "as is" basis.

Shift Supervisor at our Cambridge , ON Branch. This is a full-time, permanent job. 2 weeks on DAYS / 2 weeks on AFTERNOONS with a shift premium on afternoons.
Manage employee performance to ensure compliance with company standards and within the scope of the collective agreement
Ensure all outbound and inbound trucks are loaded / unloaded in a timely and efficient fashion while maximizing productivity
Perform shipping and receiving duties as needed, or directed by management
Ensure inventory integrity is maintained

Ensure a clean, safe and well-organized working environment is maintained and all operations are in accordance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act, quality standards and company policies.

General knowledge of all warehouse machine and equipment operations (e.g. overhead cranes, saws, plasma)
Computer proficiency (Microsoft Word and Excel)

Knowledge of Metalware (including bar coding), Employment Standards Act, applicable transportation legislation, ISO quality standards, company policies and inventory control procedures and reports.
