Summarynheightec is a well established provider of specialist training for work at height and rescue, delivered through our network of training centres across the UK.

We have a requirement at our London training venues for a full time instructor.


Job PurposenReporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of training to clients in the rope access, rescue, government agency and telecoms industries together with other specialist sectors.

ResponsibilitiesnDeliver training courses at our London Height Safety Centre and client locationsnMaintain high standards of safety with close supervision of traineesnUnderstand legislation and principles of risk assessmentnWork in accordance with defined proceduresnMaintain high standard of knowledge and techniquesnComplete course paperwork accuratelynInspect and maintain training equipmentnGeneral building facility maintenance

ExperiencenIRATA and/or EUSR/MATS instructing experience desirable but not essential as full training will be given. We welcome applications from instructors with other relevant industry experience.

Personal SkillsnYou will have excellent communication skills. Training experience required and ideally a PTLLS qualification or equivalent.

Essential SkillsnIT to a basic level. Excellent verbal communication skills. You will hold a current, clean driving licence as there may be occasional work away, usually southern England.
