We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Clinical Support Team Administrator to work alongside our Early Intervention in Psychosis Service within the Norfolk and Suffolk Foundation Trust.

This is a substantive position, working 22.5 hours per week.


The post holder will be providing Administration/Business Support to our clinicians and doctors within the team and also provide support to management.

Good office based skills would be required, however, full training will be provided.

Main duties of the job:

You will need to demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills with a dedication to confidentiality and service user experience. Customer service skills and full administration experience will be essential for this role. Audio typing skills would be beneficial as our consultants use digital audio equipment for their correspondence.

The post hold will also be expected to attend meetings as required, take minutes and follow up on any actions as necessary.


You will be joining a dedicated friendly team in a fast-paced environment using a range of clinical systems and Microsoft packages.

A working knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook will be essential.

Knowledge of the Trust system Lorenzo would be an advantage but is not essential as full training will be provided.

Essential criteria:

  • Experience of working in a busy office and extensive knowledge of all Microsoft packages.
  • Experience of using digital dictation for medic letters is desired, but training will be given.
  • Diary management and minute taking skills are essential.

  • Pitman/RSA III Typing/Word Processing or equivalent secretarial experience at intermediate level
