LTF Recruitment is excited to collaborate with an alternative education provider, catering to individuals facing challenges accessing mainstream education due to social, emotional, or behavioral reasons and are seeking different pathways to succeed.

As a Tutor, you will collaborate with a Mechanics Mentor to assist learners in achieving their Level 1 Motor Vehicle Studies Qualification.

Sector expertise in mechanics is crucial.

You will be instructing small groups on topics like Health & Safety, Spark Ignition Power Units, Steering and Suspension, and other fundamental subjects .


Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute daily activities to enhance learner knowledge.
- Stay updated with marking and student progress tracking
- Apply positive behavioral techniques.
- Conduct orientations for new students and serve as a primary contact for concerns.
- Assist learners in behavioral modifications to unlock their academic potential.
- Provide mentoring support to students both inside and outside the classroom
- Conduct student reviews and reports
Qualification/Training
- Proficiency in the Mechanics sector
- Teaching qualification or equivalent PTTLS certification
- Experience handling challenging behavior.
- Experience working with youth in sports, education, or youth work fields.
