Hybrid working (2-3 days a week in our central Cambridge office)
Are you a legal expert with great negotiation skills looking for a better work/life fit?
As Legal Counsel at Cambridge Intelligence, you'll be a key member of our established in-house legal team, advising on all legal aspects of our software licensing contracts.
You'll assist with various legal tasks relating to software licensing from drafting, contract negotiations and red-lining, and a broad range of other legal work.
You'll report to our Head of Legal, and join our friendly legal team of four.We are looking for an organised and experienced legal professional, who has great negotiation and drafting skills and who enjoys learning and building relationships inside and outside the business.
Experience of software licensing and multi-jurisdiction negotiation is highly desirable.Contract drafting, using templates/precedents as appropriate, including royalties.
Contract review and negotiation
Dealing with various legal matters beyond software licensing, including data protection laws, anti-bribery, recruitment/immigration laws, review of third-party terms and conditions, etc.
Assisting our internal customer success team with contract renewals including advice, drafting of renewal letters/variations and drafting of new license agreements.
Providing ad hoc legal support to our other internal teams on a wide variety of matters.Opportunities to grow
