Overall Purpose of Job

To carry out property inspections on behalf of the Maintenance team and play a pivotal role in the successful delivery and completion of maintenance works relating to damp, mould, disrepair, complaint outcomes actions and complex repair cases.

To assist the wider maintenance team in the provision of pre and post inspections across the Properties Directorate.
Main Responsibilities
Responsible for diagnosing the cause of general property disrepair in relation to condensation damp and mould in properties and specifying suitable remediation through a single or multi-stage approach
Carrying out pre and post inspection, both in person and virtually where required for planned and contractor works as well as standard reactive maintenance surveys
Produce detailed reports concerning findings including options for remedial solutions.

To determine any other works required whilst on site and highlight to the Works Planners through the use of the systems in place.

Support the Area Managers to drive continuous improvement of damp, mould, disrepair and general maintenance works
To carry out repairs where possible as part of the Maintenance teams on site
