The Nebula Federation of Schools are seeking to appoint Teaching Assistants at Old Catton Junior School, St. Faiths' Primary School and White Woman Lane School.


We are seeking to appoint individuals who have a commitment to Inclusive practices and a child centred approach and would like the opportunity to work with children and support them with their learning.

You will be expected to work in class, support small groups and work 1:1 with some pupils, including those with SEND and/or those with behaviour difficulties.


Applicants should have:

  • A high standard of English, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent numeracy skills.
  • A positive, flexible and friendly outlook with a strong sense of teamwork.
  • A childcentred approach with the ability to demonstrate care, patience and understanding with a passion for helping children of all abilities.
  • The ability to use their initiative and adapt their approaches to teaching or behaviour when required.
  • An appreciation of the challenges of a diverse school community and a willingness to be part of a highly valued team.
  • A good level of resilience and commitment to working with our most vulnerable children.
  • An ability to support children with a range of Special Educational Needs.
  • A willingness to continually learn and the desire to engage in our excellent CPD opportunities.
