Support Worker Learning Disabilities

You will be required to cover afternoon and evenings and be flexible enough to cover a very occasional weekend day and possible holiday cover if required.
The role would be approximately hours per week, and require you to seek out and plan activities of interest for the client, for example Swimming, bowling and days out which he finds enjoyable and keeps him active.
The role requires you to work closely with the family to provide a full and active social life for the young man.
Duties include providing social, health, domestic, professional and personal support including meal prep/ cleaning the house & massage support.
You will be working as part of a close team and must be confident in all aspects of personal support work, epilepsy and related behaviour's.
Both positions would suit individuals who can integrate well with the family unit to enjoy days out, holidays and would like to embrace this young man into their lives.
FULL UK DRIVING LICENCE desirable. Mileage allowance covered within the hourly rate of £10-£12.50. This will be dependent on the applicant's experience and any relevant qualifications which are considered desirable not essential.You will be required to undertake four weeks training/probation to get to know the client and his family which will be with full pay.
