Graphic Designer

Adept is a multi-disciplinary creative agency.

For over 30 years we've been helping charities and non-profits create printed materials, digital experiences and identities. We create brands, produce printed materials such as impact reports, magazines and fundraising materials, and design and build bespokewebsites.

We are looking for a Graphic Designer to join our team, with 1-2 years minimum commercial experience.

Duties to include:

  • Producing designs in response to client's briefs using Adobe Creative Cloud (especially InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator)
  • Sourcing appropriate stock photography and graphics to complement designs
  • Developing messaging and content for campaigns where required
  • Ensuring client brand guidelines are adhered to
  • Providing quality control over own work
  • Producing final print ready/web ready artwork to agreed specifications
  • Designing and producing inhouse marketing collateral

Personal qualities:

  • Creativity; demonstrating a passion for design
  • Attention to detail; taking pride in quality of your work
  • Teamwork; ability to work with others, take advice and support other members of the team.
  • Good communications skills. Asking appropriate questions, excellent listening skills and ability to feed back to colleagues.
  • Good time management; ability to work to prioritise and work to deadlines.

Experience required:

  • Demonstratable commercial experience in a similar graphic design role
  • Educated to degree level

General


The role will be based in our office in Bowthorpe, Norwich, however some hybrid working may be possible after a three month probationary period.

Office hours are 9am

  • 5.30pm, Monday to Thursday, with an early finish at 5pm on Friday.
