We have an exciting opportunity in the Information School at the University of Sheffield for an excellent researcher and inspiring teacher.
We are looking to recruit a Lecturer in Librarianship or Information Management. If appointed to this post, you would play an important part in our continued success.
You will have a PhD (or equivalent) in a field related to Librarianship or Information Management, a developing research profile, a proven teaching ability, a strong commitment to interdisciplinary collaboration, and will make a key contribution to advancing the School's leading position in Library and Information Science.
You will make a strong contribution to the further development of our research and teaching activities in Librarianship and/or Information Management; to the delivery of our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes including both on campus and distance learning programmes; and to the supervision and development of research students.
As this role will involve supervising and supporting research students and colleagues you will be required to foster a culture of mutual support and collegiality.
