Toni at Amber Mace is currently recruiting for a Team Leader who will lead a team of Nursing Support Assistants to carry out person centred care within a small Nursing Home.

As part of the Senior Care Team you will lead and organise assigned duties to maintain hygiene, order and safety within the home, you will also undertake medication administration within the Home, so you must be medication trained and have a valid certificate.


Role and Responsibilities of the NSA Team Leader:

  • Lead a team of support workers to ensure the constant provisionof high quality care to residents
  • To complete clear, concise and accurate records on the digital system
  • To support and take part in fundraising events and company internal/external promotional activities
  • To work with the Management Team to make suggestions to the ongoing improvement of procedures and services, including attending Quality Assurance meetings
  • To undertake audits to ensure company procedures and guidelines are being followed
  • Supervise and support new starters with practical induction training
  • Adhere to CQC regulations

Skills and Qualifications:

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Health and Social Care
  • Up to date Medication Competency certificate
  • Good Team working skills and ability to work off your own initiative
  • Knowledge of CQC
  • Organisational Skills
  • Communication skills both written and verbal
  • Proven leadership skills experience of leading a team
  • Previous experience with Elderly/Dementia residents

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent

Salary:
£12.75-£12.85 per hour

Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability

Licence/Certification:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (required)
