This role will involve dedicated administrative support to a patient pathway and assistance in providing cover to other secretaries when required.
Brief Summary of the Role:
The successful applicant will provide an administrative service to their designated pathway eg monitoring performance against key performance indicators, highlighting to the team any areas for improvement, taking minutes of meetings, dealing with day to day queries whilst working within a flexible admin team set up.

Work closely with the Operational Pathway Lead, Head of Forensic Nursing, Ward Managers and deputy Ward Managers to address the administrative and clerical requirements of each inpatient ward.
Provide a point for directorate internal enquiries, resolving and responding to queries on behalf of the inpatient teams, when appropriate and convey messages accurately and quickly.
Arranging and co-ordinating meetings (internal and external), including liaising with attendees, booking rooms, preparing meeting agendas, taking and typing minutes.
Working with other Forensic Team Secretaries to develop and maintain an effective filing system that is consistent in design and operation across the service areas of the directorate.
Under the direction of the Ward Manager and Operational Lead, take responsibility for the coordination of staff training liaising with clinical staff around the logistics of their training requirements for the year, monitoring compliance in real time and raising gaps and/or logístical problems with the inpatient management team.
Under the direction of the Ward Manager support the monitoring and the recording of compliance regarding managerial and clinical supervision and highlight to the ward manager weekly compliance figures for them to action.
Under direction of the Ward Manager support the monitoring of compliance figures regarding completion of appraisals and highlight to the ward manager on a monthly basis individuals whom are showing as noncompliant.
Support and coordinate various required projects, under the direction of the pathway leadership team, including; service user events, marketing of services, promotional and training events.
Performance Support
Working with other Forensic Team Secretaries, Business Support Manager and under the direction of the Operational Pathway Lead, lead the development of a real time performance measurement scorecard system for each inpatient ward focusing on all aspects of clinical performance in line with national standards and service specification compliance.
