Our Network Control team have an opportunity for you to join as our new
Network Controller.


In your new role, you'll be responsible for ensuring the effective operation and control of our company's assets, managing water supplies for over 7 million customers in real-time across a 24/7 365 window.

The work you'll do is critical in identifying business risks and ensuring appropriate responses to protect our business reputation.

You'll have to think quick on your feet to analyse multiple data sets to assess risks and make quick and precise decisions under pressure.


WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE ROLE


We're looking for someone who has a brilliant work ethic and can work as part of a team to deliver project objectives.

As a Network Controller, you'll take accountability for decisions that impact customers, finances, and our reputation, by providing expert technical advice in our Incident Control room.

You'll drive a continuous improvement mindset and identify asset management improvements and opportunities. You'll also record and gather data for regulatory requirements, including proactive updates to key stakeholders during events and incidents.


To be successful in this role you'll have strong analytical experience with the ability to priortise incoming tasks, work in a pressurised environment and be confident using multiple IT systems to identify problems and co-ordinate data.

You'll also have excellent communication skills and experience of influencing stakeholders at all levels.


It would also be beneficial if you have knowledge of sewerage systems & assets and/or experience of working within in a control centre environment.

Ideally, we require you to have English & Maths GCSE Level 5 or above.
