SUMMARY:


The Bay 4 Pressure Test Assistant is expected to work closely with the pressure test supervisor in maintenance, servicing, and pressure testing of equipment in Bay 4 of the Aberdeen Warehouse.

Performs all pressure testing and warehouse operations as per work procedures. Delivers safe, efficient, and excellent quality work, and provides exceptional service to both internal and external clients. Become familiar with the Company's equipment and services, ensuring adherence to all safety and management procedures. Actively undertake all required warehousing activities and attend to the day to day running of the Bay.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES including but not limited to the following:

  • Along with the pressure test supervisor oversee that equipment is serviced correctly and to a high standard
  • Ensuring the tasks are completed to the ISO Standard
  • Informing your supervisor of problems within your department
  • Ensure Warehouse is kept in a tidy and organized fashion
  • Ensure all records are kept up to date and filed accordingly
  • Ensure all recorded pressure test results are complete and recorded onto removable device
  • Filling out failure reports, and making management aware of quarantined equipment
  • Ability to learn from Pressure Test Supervisor and to be able to cover Annual leave.

  • Report unplanned events as per the Unplanned Events Requirements Guideline.
  • Take reasonable care for the health and safety of yourself and of other persons who may be affected by your acts or omissions at work.
  • Maintain at all times a work area that is clean, orderly, safe and hazardfree.
  • Attend the necessary training to enable you to understand and perform the roles and responsibilities involved with their job duties and comply with training you have received.
  • Ensure the documented information developed and maintained within your areas of responsibility meets or exceeds local and international standards as well as customer requirements.
  • Participate in site inspections and behaviour Based/HR Reporting processes.
  • Be obliged to ensure continuous improvement; keep under review the ways in which the Company's products, services, processes, equipment, systems and activities might be improved, enhanced and/or developed.

REQUISITES:

Qualifications/Education:

  • Must be numerate and literate to Secondary School Education level

Skills:

  • Good team player which is also able to work unsupervised and meet deadlines.

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Previous experience in warehousing and equipment maintenance and servicing is required, as well as experience of: Pressire testing, valves and fittings and forklift truck operation certification preferred but not essential.
