Currently looking to recruit a Commercial Manager to help grow the business. You will form part of a new expansion plan within the business with excellent career opportunities and will be instrumental in helping us execute that plan

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Proactively deal with new opportunities that are presented to the business and manage existing accounts within the region.
  • Managing organisational sales by developing a business plan that covers sales, revenue, margin of existing accounts
  • Direct commercial management responsibility for all allocated customers and prospects including: budget/plan delivery, working capital management and cross selling.
  • Meeting planned growth and retention goals.
  • Tracking sales goals and reporting results as necessary.
  • Overseeing the activities and performance of the commercial team. (2)
  • Coordinating with marketing on lead generation.
  • The ongoing training of our commercial team
  • Developing our commercial team through motivation, counselling, and product knowledge education.
  • Promoting the organisation and products.
  • Understand our ideal customers and how they relate to our products

You should have the following skills, experience and/or qualifications:

  • Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills.
  • Be able to demonstrate resilience, drive and have a focus on delivery results.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • We want someone who can come with ideas and can be creative around all things business development.
  • Ideally you will also hold the following:
  • Degree in business or related field.
  • Experience in planning and implementing sales strategies.
  • Experience in customer relationship management.
  • Experience managing and directing a commercial team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Dedication to providing great customer service.
  • Ability to lead a commercial team
