You will be joining a cheerful and positive team with a passion for providing 5-star service to our loyal customers.

You should be an energetic team worker, reliable, polite, neat and friendly, with a good sense of humour and a love of Thai culture and food

In your role you will:

  • Welcome customers, carry out a premassage consultation with the customer, and assess and explain the appropriate treatment for the customer
  • Provide therapeutic Thai massage in various modalities to customers (deep tissue, with/without oil, head/neck focused, foot etc.)
  • This will include manipulating/massaging in order to identify and ease the source of any muscular discomfort or pain, restoring flexibility and mobility, advising on remedial steps a customer might take in future (for example in relation to posture, working practices or nutrition)
  • Assist and guide lessqualified therapists to help them in appropriately addressing patients' specific muscular or skeletal complaints
  • Provide general assistance to the day manager in opening, cleaning, and closing the shop

Your experience, qualifications and location:

  • Degreelevel qualification in physiotherapy, biomechanics or massage therapy, and at least VTCT Level 3 qualification in Thai Massage
  • Excellent spoken English and Thai is required

Pay and benefits:

  • Annual salary of over £26,000 (assuming 4 days per week), paid monthly
  • Keep 100% of your tips
  • Discretionary performancelinked annual bonus
  • 28 days' paid holiday per year assuming a 5 day per week role
  • Entitlement to all statutory rights including in respect of health and safety, redundancy pay, sick pay, maternity pay
  • The shop is open from 11am until 9pm (weekdays) and 11am7pm (weekends). You will be expected to work at least one weekend day each week
