Sound and Staging Lecturer

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and teach a comprehensive curriculum that covers all aspects of sound and staging design and execution
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to students to help them develop their skills and confidence in the field
  • Create and administer assessments to evaluate student progress and ensure that the course is meeting its objectives
  • Stay uptodate with industry trends and changes and incorporate them into the curriculum as needed
  • Collaborate with other instructors to ensure that the course is integrated with other relevant courses in the program

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience working in sound engineering and design, as well as staging for events
  • Experience teaching or training others in the industry
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop engaging and effective curriculum materials
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Education:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred, but equivalent experience in the industry will be considered

Job Types:

£26.37-£31.31 per hour
