In the heart of Havering, an 'Outstanding' Secondary School is seeking a Teacher of Psychology to join their team starting in September 2024. This is a permanent, full-time position.


The Head Teacher is in search of a motivated Teacher of Psychology who can bring value to the growing Psychology Department. The school is known for its supportive senior leadership team and impressive Progress 8 outcomes across all subjects.

  • Experienced Psychology Teachers have the opportunity to take on additional responsibilities such as KS3 Coordinator or Pastoral duties.

TLR Opportunities:
  • Positions such as KS3 Coordinator and Pastoral Responsibilities available
  • Support for ECTs including mentoring, tailored induction, and various training programs
  • Full-time permanent position starting in September
  • MPS1-UPS3 salary range with the possibility of additional TLR based on experience

PERSON SPECIFICATION

  • Must hold UK QTS or be in the process of obtaining it
  • Demonstrated strong academic background including Degree, A Levels, and GCSEs
  • Proficiency in meeting the 8 Teaching Standards at a 'Good or Outstanding' level
  • Ability to work effectively within a large team of Psychology Teachers
  • Openness to receiving and implementing feedback
