Maintenance Team Member

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Maintenance Team Member at the Runnymede on Thames. The salary for this position is £28,000.00 per annum based on 40 hours per week.

What will I be doing?

  • Carrying out regular maintenance and repair work on the hotel's equipment and facilities, including plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems
  • Assisting with keeping preventative maintenance up to date to ensure all equipment and facilities are wellmaintained and are in good working order
  • Observing pool plant maintenance on a daily basis
  • To identify and report equipment faults to the Maintenance Manager
  • Communicate with our guests to resolve any maintenance issues they may have

What are we looking for?

  • Someone who has a good understanding of buildings and facilities
  • Previous experience of working in a similar environment with the ability to multi task in a busy department
  • The ability to work well as part of a team as well as independently

What skills do I need?

  • Relevant trade qualifications are desirable in either electrical (18th Edition Electrical course) or plumbing & heating, additional qualifications in Health & Safety and/or Pool Plant operations would be highly advantageous, but not essential as we you will receive training
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
This role will involve you working a mixture of shifts including weekends and banks holidays on a rotational basis.
