Overview:

Compass Associates is pleased to be collaborating with a leading household name in the children's care and education sector in the UK, who provide residential support and educational services to children of all ages. The range of backgrounds covered include profound and multiple learning disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder and complex needs.

They are seeking a Lead Clinical Psychologist to head up the psychology provision for the two schools in the designated region and provide virtual clinical supervisions for other clinicians within the company. You will be fully supported by the Clinical Director, as well as the Headteachers.

Location:

As a dual site role, one school is located in Bournemouth, and the other in Andover (less than an hour apart); thus the role is commutable from Yeovil, Swindon, Reading, Winchester, Southampton, Portsmouth, Petersfield and Salisbury and other surrounding towns and villages.

Criteria:

HCPC Registered Clinical Psychologist

Clinical supervision experience

Shift Pattern:

As a Lead Clinical Psychologist, you will work ideally full-time, Mon – Fri but applications are welcome from those seeking part-time hours.

Interview Process:

This will be a one-stage, competency-based interview, held virtually, and carried out with the Clinical Director and Head of School.

Salary and Benefits:

This Head of Therapy position pays up to £72,000 (Band 8c) (pro-rata), and includes an industry-leading benefit package as follows:

25 days' annual leave + 8 bank holidays (+ long service increases)
